hello.my.dear

alone along the street i walked in the dark
as the sun's long lingering glow tipped everything in gold fire
and passed by, did i, this man in top hat and smile

through that charming grin and piercing eye he tipped his hat
and did introduce with verbose recitation
that he was called Claude and this, atop his head, was indeed Imagination.
